Zonda™ Disc Brake is a benchmark for mid-level aluminum Disc Brake wheels. Completely redesigned structure and specific for bicycles with disc brakes. The result is improved reactivity in all aspects, especially thanks to the use of asymmetric rims and Mega G3™ hubs on both wheels. With this innovative solution, we have achieved a stable front wheel, capable of absorbing the energy of the braking torque generated on the left side and a rear wheel capable of guaranteeing maximum power transmission for the cyclist. Compatible with HH12, QR and 135 and 142 rear thru axles. NEW ASYMMETRIC RIM PROFILE (26 – 28 mm) : asymmetric rim profile that allows for a better balance of spoke tensions between the transmission side and the brake side, thus creating better symmetry in an asymmetric component . Without a doubt, greater efficiency and reactivity will be perceived. MILLED RIM : this machining allows the weight to be reduced around the rim´s perimeter, providing the wheel with extreme reactivity. RDB™ - DYNAMIC RIM BALANCE : the concept is simple and elegant: balance the weight of the valve with an analogous weight on the diametrically opposite side. MOMAG™ : allows you to obtain an outer profile of the rim without holes, improving both rigidity and weight. SPOKES : G3™ technology also applied to the front wheel to improve performance with high braking power. FRONT WHEEL SPOKES : 14 stainless steel spokes with section 2/1.6/2 mm (left side – brake side) 7 stainless steel spokes with section 2/1.6/2 mm (right side). REAR WHEEL SPOKES : 7 stainless steel spokes with section 2/1.6/2 mm (left side – brake side) 14 stainless steel spokes with section 2/1.6/2 mm (right side – cassette side pinions). NIPPERS : Black anodized self-locking nipples on the outside of the rim for easy maintenance. CONE/CUP BEARINGS : the easy adjustment of the bearings reduces play where necessary, maintaining constant performance over time and ensuring an optimal contact angle between sphere and surface. NEW BUSHING WITH MICROMETRIC ADJUSTMENT : for precision adjustment of the bushing, thus avoiding noticeable play. TWO DIFFERENT DISC COUPLINGS: 6 SCREWS AND AFS™ : to ensure full compatibility with any disc available on the market. 21 STAINLESS STEEL SPOKES WITH MEGA-G3™ SYSTEM : guarantees optimal rigidity and reactivity, creating reinforcement in the front rim on the braking side and in the rear on the sprocket cassette side and giving a very competitive image to the wheel.
