This insulated trail shoe is lightweight and comfortable, keeping your feet warm and dry in cold weather.
Fall and winter are great times for trail riding—as long as you can keep your feet warm and comfortable. This insulated trail shoe lets you keep charging through the seasons.
Made with a lightweight Thinsulate material, which features thinner fibers arranged with increased density, the XA Thermo keeps your feet warm without adding much bulk. The insulation retains body heat, but still allows moisture to evaporate. This keeps your feet dry, which also keeps them warm. And since they are so lightweight, you get the same level of comfort as a high-performance summer shoe.
The XA Thermo also gives you added traction and stability on wet or icy surfaces with our Energy Grip Trail + outsole. Designed with a Contragrip Ice lugged sole, you get optimal grip on the pedals and on the ground when walking. Other details, including the Quick Lace closure and 3D Ortholite insole, all add up to superior comfort so you can continue riding trails deep into the fall and winter seasons.
Key benefits:
Added warmth with minimal bulk:
- Thinsulate fibers are about 15 micrometers (0.00059 in) in diameter, which is thinner than the polyester fibers normally used for insulated clothing such as gloves or winter jackets.
- Thinsulate is more effective due to the increased density of fibers. It retains heat produced by the body while allowing moisture to evaporate.
- Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment protects from rain, puddles and tire spray.
Comfort and support for off-road terrain:
- Same comfort and fit as a summer MTB shoe thanks to the full gaiter and Thinsulate material.
- 3D OrthoLite insole provides cushioning and comfort throughout your ride.
- Quick Lace offers convenient closure with adjustable tightening.
